I Am Divine is the story of Divine, aka Harris Glenn Milstead, from his humble beginnings as an overweight, teased Baltimore youth to internationally recognized drag superstar through his collaboration with filmmaker John Waters. Spitting in the face of the status quos of body image, gender identity, sexuality, and preconceived notions of beauty, Divine was the ultimate outsider turned underground royalty. Con 18 años cumplidos, Lake tiene una larga relación con Désirée, su dulce novia activista. Pero, últimamente, siente una inusual atracción por la clientela de la tercera edad que frecuenta la piscina de la que él es salvavidas. La madre de Lake encuentra para él un trabajo de verano como enfermero en un asilo de ancianos, donde conoce al Sr. Peabody, por quien siente una atracción instantánea. Al descubrir que los pacientes están bajo medicamentos para ser controlados con mayor facilidad, Lake decide retirar la medicación al Sr. Peabody y lo ayuda a escapar; el resultado es un hilarante y conmovedor viaje que afianza su conexión.

Eighteen-year-old Lake has been in a straight relationship with sweet activist Désirée for a while. But lately he finds himself paying special attention to some of the older male clientele where he reluctantly works as a lifeguard. His mother gets him hired at a seniors' home, where he meets Mr. Peabody and sparks fly. Upon discovering that the patients are being over-medicated to make them easier to manage, Lake decides to wean Mr. Peabody off his medication and help him escape, resulting in a humorous and heartfelt road trip that strengthens their bond.

Bruce LaBruce es un realizador, escritor, director, fotógrafo y artista canadiense radicado en Toronto. Comenzó su carrera a mediados de los años ochenta haciendo una serie de cortos experimentales en súper 8 y coeditando un fanzine llamado J.D.s el cual engendró el movimiento queercore. Por el estilo de sus películas, es reconocido como uno de los expositores del movimiento new queer cinema.

Bruce LaBruce is a Toronto-based filmmaker, writer, director, photographer and artist. He began his career in the mid-eighties, developing a series of short experimental super 8 films and co-editing a punk fanzine called J.D.s, which began the queercore movement. He is considered one of the major figures of the new queer cinema movement.

Hanoch, un hombre de 40 años, abandona a la madre de su futuro hijo en Tel Aviv y vuela a París. Por razones misteriosas, comienza a seguir en secreto a un hombre de 65 años, Ruben, antes de dejar la capital abruptamente. Ruben está a punto de ponerle un punto final a su carrera de oficial de policía. Se hunde lentamente en la tristeza, hasta que un colega le pide investigar un último caso de desaparición. Es Hanoch, que ha sido encontrado en la playa, mudo y sin identificación. Entre accidentes y encuentros azarosos, se conocerán y tendrán que escribir una nueva página en sus historias personales; una página a la que ambos deben darle la vuelta de una vez.

Hanoch, a man in his forties, decides to leave the mother of his future son in Tel Aviv and fly to Paris. For mysterious reasons, he starts to secretly follow a 65-year old man, Ruben, before suddenly leaving the capital. Ruben is about to put an end to his career as a police officer. Slowly sinking into gloom when a colleague asks him to investigate on a last case of disappearance. It is Hanoch, who has been found on the beach, mute and without ID. Through the course of several accidents and chance encounters they will meet and each of them will have to face a page of their personal history, a page that they both need to turn for good.

Graduado de la Sam Spiegel Film & Television School of Jerusalem, Yossi Aviram divide su carrera entre su trabajo como director de fotografía y sus propios filmes. En 1998, Año de Israel en Francia, participó en un intercambio cultural de cuatro semanas en París, durante el cual dirigió su segundo cortometraje, Anna. Después de algunos documentales, La Dune es su primer largometraje.

A graduate from the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School of Jerusalem, Yossi Aviram splits his career between his work as a director of photography and his own films. In 1998, Year of Israel in France, he participated in a four-week cultural exchange in Paris, during which he directed his second short film, Anna. After several documentaries, The Dune is his first feature film.

Ribeiro nació en São Paulo el 20 de mayo de 1982. Ganó un premio en 2007 por su cortometraje Café com Leite. Participó en la sección oficial de cortometrajes del FICG26 con Eu não quero voltar sozinho. Esta película ganó el Teddy Award en la Berlinale, el pasado mes de febrero.

Ribeiro was born in São Paulo on 20 May 1982. He won an award in 2007 for his short film Cafe com Leite. In 2011 he participated in the official section of the Guadalajara International Film Festival with Eu não quero voltar sozinho. This film won the Teddy Award at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival, last february.
